through the efforts of the Sunday School and the Congregation will be raising

$5,000 for the purchase of a Heifer International Gift Ark

Heifer International is a nonprofit organization working to end world hunger. It currently provides 27 different kinds of livestock to families in 47 countries. Since it began in 1944, Heifer has given direct aid to four million families and, through its “Passing on the Gift” program, indirectly affected the lives of more than 24 million people in 128 countries around the world.

Our goal is to fund a $5,000.00 gift ark, which includes: a pair of heifers, camels, oxen, water buffalos, llamas, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, tree seedlings, trios of rabbits and guinea pigs, fish, beehives, as well as flocks of chicks, ducks, and geese.

Donations can be made in one of several ways: filling an ark bank; making an offering in a Heifer Project envelope (these are available in the Narthex); or purchasing a gift card in honor of birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and memorials, (these are available in the church office).
